FUTURO Launch party at the historic Biltmore Hotel

The future is built on the past and so the historic Biltmore Hotel was the perfect place to step into the future and celebrate the launch of FUTURO our latest edition.

The walls were lined with artwork. Digital screens showed NFT art by Ellen De, Danko & Steven Daily. We were proud to display the first ever digital fashion show Guiding Light by Gary James McQueen and three pieces of art by Ron Reihel, whose work graced our cover.

Contributors, Lab Mag Members and our partners and friends at INFTSPACES drank champagne, viewed art, discussed NFTs, listened to the artists talk about their work and finished with a listening session of a classic Leonard Cohen song.

The first copy of the FUTURO edition was presented in a briefcase by a bodyguard, opened to an operatic soundtrack complete with dry ice. There’s nothing like some live theatre to be reminded that physical gatherings like this one make life worth living. It was Very Laboratory!

Thank you to our members who came out to play and for our new friends at INFTSPACES. More to come.
