As part of FRIEZE week in LA, the futurist artist Lucy McRae will be doing a walkthrough with The Lab Mag at the Honor Fraser gallery on Saturday Feb 18th at 3 pm.
It’s the last chance to see this thought provoking exhibition that features short films, soft sculptures, and kinetic installations.

The exhibition debuts the world premiere of two short films, Futurekin (2022) and Delicate Spells of Mind (2022) along with an array of ideas about the possibility of our future lives.
These renderings of daily life that are both spectacular in their banality and brazen in their examination of human hardwiring. Adorned in the industrial exoskeletons of future fashion, specters of our future selves are momentarily caught in acts of labor, vulnerability, and reciprocity. The three films forecast an already evolving human spirit and chart these changes across collective networks as well as individual actors. McRae appears in each film as a conduit between worlds.
